Hi, This is my entry for the Planet Half Life level design contest. Notes about the level: The Idea - In case you're curious, I used to be an avid reader of "The Phantom" comic strip by Lee Falk. The Phantom had his headquarters in a Skull Cave (sort of like the Bat Cave) so I wanted to create something similar for my level. I also really like Radiskull and Devil Doll so I thought a big skull with glowing red eyes would be a fitting tribute. I think the map is pretty self explanatory while playing but here are some hints in case you're not sure what's going on in certain areas of the map. Play Tips 1. To rapidly get to the top of the tower stand on one of the 3 raised triangular stones just below the tower then jump. 2. The force field/membrane will allow weapon fire to pass through in both directions but players can only pass through it in one direction. If you are on the underwater side of the forcefield remember that only certain weapons will function while you are underwater. 3. To make the skull's eyes glow and sound to play you need to go to about the midway point of the ramp that leads into the skull's mouth. I think that's about it. There are no secret areas in the map. The PHL logo is located on the top floor of the stone corridor area. I tried to make it so that the player would think the logo looks really cool when they first come across it.
